São Paulo, October 11, 2019 – Over 1,350 animals will be coming to the upcoming phase of the Nelore Quality Circuit, which is being held on October 14 and 15 at the Friboi factory in Vilhena (RO). Organized by the Brazilian Nelore Breeders Association (ACNB) and the Rondônia Nelore Breeders’ Association (ACNR), the Circuit is sponsored by Friboi and the Matsuda Group.
The Nelore Quality Circuit’s main objective is to provide livestock breeders with accurate information about their animal carcass characteristics, as part of efforts to improve carcass quality and breeding efficiency.
“The Nelore Quality Circuit is a critical tool in regions where cattle breeding plays a major role in the economy, like Rondônia. There are more than 14 million head of cattle in our state and the information distributed during the Circuit following the carcass assessments helps our farmers improve their results”, said José Macedo da Silva, the ACNR president.
There are medals for the best carcass lots evaluated on the Circuit. The winners in both the male and female categories also receive 500 kilos of Matsuda mineral supplements.
The Nelore Quality Circuit is returning to Rondônia and will be held in the city of Pimenta Bueno on October 16 and 17.
