JBS will donate 2 million soaps

Kits will be delivered to elderly care facilities and favelas in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro

Sao Paulo, March 24th, 2020 – JBS, through its division JBS Higiene & Limpeza, will start producing 2 million soaps that will be distributed in different Brazilian regions. In total, more than 300,000 kits will be donated as of next Monday (30). The product will be sent to elderly care facilities near the Company’s plants and favelas in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, on an action coordinated with Central Única das Favelas (CUFA), which will be responsible for the distribution in both cities. Company Team Members throughout Brazil will also be benefitted with this action.

The soaps will be made at the JBS Higiene & Limpeza plant in the city of Lins, state of Sao Paulo. The expectation is that by April 4th all kits have been delivered throughout Brazil. The action is part of JBS’ social responsibility program “Fazer o Bem Faz Bem.”
