Sao Paulo, January 8, 2019 – JBS has announced a number of opportunities at JBS Beef Brazil plants in the states of Acre, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Pará and Rondônia for engineers who have graduated in the last three years. As part of the Engineer Training Program (“Formação para Engenheiros”, in Portuguese), the Company is looking to train the next generation of talents who will be responsible for leading works and maintenance teams at the Company’s production units.
“This is the first edition of the Engineer Training Program, which will include training modules focusing on both technical training and people management. The initiative’s big difference is the fact it is based on JBS’s seven values –Ownership Attitude, Determination, Discipline, Availability, Openness, Humility and Simplicity – which reflect the type of behavior and attitudes we expect from our staff and which we continue to disseminate at all levels of the Company”, said Verônica Coelho, JBS’s Corporate Human Resources director.
JBS will be offering 23 places in the first group, split among its 16 JBS Beef Brazil plants in: Rio Branco (AC); Mozarlândia (GO); Alta Floresta, Araputanga, Barra do Garças, Colíder, Confresa, Diamantino, Juara e Pontes e Lacerda (MT); Marabá, Redenção and Santana do Araguaia (PA); and Pimenta Bueno, São Miguel do Guaporé and Vilhena (RO).
Candidates interested in joining the selection process can hold degrees in any of the following Engineering courses: Civil, Control and Automation, Electrical, Industrial, Electrical Industrial, Mechanical Industrial, Maintenance, Materials, Mechanics, Mecatronics, Processes, Production and Production Mechanics.
Candidates should also reside in states where the units are. Prior experience and intermediate English would be considered a bonus.
There are five stages to the selection process: CV analysis, online tests / games, online interviews, group dynamics and a selection committee.
