Sao Paulo, March 13, 2018 – JBS Couros, the world’s largest leather processing company, will present two new collections at APLF Leather & Materials, the industry’s biggest event, which is being held in Hong Kong, China, from March 14 to 16.  The company intends to showcase its main products to international buyers and offer manufacturers more ways of using leather.

The Cambré collection of crust leathers was developed for footwear manufacturers, with its special focus on greater versatility for use in end products based on each customer’s requirements. The name refers to a characteristic movement in ballet which explores a ballerina’s flexibility.

Cambré reinforces our commitment to bringing different products to the international market, meeting footwear manufacturers’ large scale requirements. These leathers were developed using raw materials from Argentina, Brazil and the US, underlining the high quality and great versatility of this new collection”, said Jorge Bittencourt Castilho, Executive Manager of Strategic Sales Administration at JBS Couros.

Conceria Priante, a JBS Couros unit based in Italy, will also be in Hong Kong to present its Absolute Freshness range for the leather goods sector, focusing on the luxury and premium markets. “The collection offers much in the way of design and innovation. We looked at major trends in the market before developing these new products”, said Castilho.

JBS Couros will also be taking its successful Authentic – Deep Into Nature collection designed specifically for the furniture industry, launched in 2017, to APLF Leather & Materials. The company will also be presenting its range of crust leathers for the car industry, which has achieved significant international acceptance. The fair is a major opportunity to present new products to the Asian market and to contact and prospect customers.
