FRIBOI PLANTS IN MT WILL HOST TWO MORE STAGES OF THE NELORE QUALITY CIRCUIT

The events will take place in Araputanga and Barra do Garças

São Paulo, July 9, 2019 – The state of Mato Grosso will host another two stages of the Nelore Quality Circuit during the second half of the year. The events will be organized in Araputanga on July 16 and 17, and Barra do Garças on August 15 and 16. Sponsored by the Brazilian Nelore Breeders Association (ACNB) and its Mato Grosso branch (ACNMT), the initiative will be held at Friboi’s factories. Regional cattle breeders can contact the plant and register animals for slaughter (see contact information below).

“The Circuit is a crucial tool for assessing animals, the production system, animal handling and the genetics employed by breeders. We can help producers achieve the standard the slaughterhouse is looking for by supplying detailed information on animal carcass age, weight and fat cover, providing better prices to breeders and increasing the quality of meat that reaches consumers’ tables”, said Nabih Amin El Aouar, President of ACNB.

All cattle breeders, ACNB associates or otherwise, can participate in the Nelore Quality Circuit, regardless of herd size or production focus. Lots of 18 animals or higher can be enrolled. ACNB members will also have an opportunity to slaughter animals using the Friboi Natural Nelore Protocol, which offers bonuses of up to R$ 10.50 per arroba based on carcass characteristics and farm eligibility.

“The top three male and female lots will receive trophies”, said Nabih. In addition to the trophies, the best male and female lots will also receive 500 kilos of mineral supplements from sponsor Matsuda Sementes e Nutrição Animal.

Registration information – To take part in the Nelore Quality Circuit, producers must contact Friboi plants directly.

Araputanga plant – (65) 3211-2009 – Ask for Eden.

Barra dos Garças plant –  (66) 3402-2982 –  Ask for Antonio Carlos.

Nelore Quality Circuit – Created in 1999, the Circuit strengthens and promotes Nelore genetics and meat and helps increase Brazilian livestock productivity. This year, the initiative will bring 26 stages to 10 Brazilian states and assess over 20 thousand animals.
