Sao Paulo, July 18, 2019 – Seara works in a disruptive industry and continuing its mission of delivering the best and most innovative products, packaging and services to its consumers, the Company is proud to announce it is sponsoring the innovative, networking-oriented Whow! Festival, which is being held in São Paulo from July 23 to 25. One of Brazil’s biggest business innovation events, this edition is expected to attract four thousand visitors.
Seara will be an exhibitor, with a stand presenting its innovative portfolio, particularly its Seara Nature products (a range that only use natural preservatives), its Seara Organic Chicken (free-range chicken fed a balanced, 100% vegetable and organic diet) and the Incredible Seara Gourmet Burger (a vegetable-based hamburger made from non-transgenic soybeans, beetroot, garlic and onion).

The executive will also be taking part in a debate as part of the panel on “Innovation, Change and Results: Models, references and practices that lead to successful innovation”.
Seara, an award-winning, consistent and innovative company
Seara will be receiving the Whow! Innovation Award for the most innovative company in the “Food” category at the end of the festival’s first day. The award, which is organized by the Grupo Padrão and the Padrão Intelligence Center and is now in its second edition, identifies companies and institutions that produce consistent, incremental and disruptive innovation by focusing on a new generation of ideas that benefit consumers, the economy and society.
The award assessed the Company’s innovations in packaging, marketing positioning and merchandising, as well as its sustainability credentials, as Seara Alimentos was the first company in the world to be receive the World Health Organization food biosafety certificate. Some of its new products were directly responsible for this achievement, such as the products and ranges that will be promoted at the festival: Seara Nature, Seara Organic Chicken and the Incredible Seara Gourmet Burger.
