SEARA WINS FIVE TROPHIES AT THE EMBANEWS 2019 AWARDS

The brand won in the Marketing, Innovation and Technology & Quality categories

with its “Heats Evenly” Lasagna and Rotisserie ranges

 

Sao Paulo, May 15, 2019 – Seara Alimentos won five trophies at the 28th Brazilian Packaging Awards (Prêmio Brasileiro de Embalagem, in Portuguese), which is organized by EMBANEWS, the industry’s leading publication that has been in circulation for almost 30 years. Packaging for the Seara Rotisserie range, with its “Power Vac” technology and the Lasagna range, with its “Heats Evenly” technology, were recognized as a result of the innovative, high quality work carried out across various areas of the Company. Seara, which also won the Client of the Year award, will receive the awards on May 16 at an event in Sao Paulo.

 

Both technologies were proposed, studied and implemented by the Company’s Packaging R&D team, and then further developed by Product R&D, Marketing, Engineering and Supplies. The Client of the Year award is for packaging end users and is based on the Company’s focus on the potential for innovation, raising Seara’s credibility in the packaging industry.

 

“This is another major achievement that showcases the value in our portfolio and encourages us to keep supporting ideas and progress in packaging, products, processes, design, technology and everything that routinely creates new opportunities for our business and, more importantly, our customers”, said Luciara Rech Peil, executive director of R&D at Seara Alimentos.

 

The Company is also in the running for another two EMBANEWS awards, however, the winners will only be announced on the day of the event.

 

The Seara Rotisserie range recently won the FI Innovation Awards prize for Most Innovative Food Product in 2018 and the Major Packaging Cases Award, organized by EmbalagemMarca magazine, which also handed an award to the “Heats Evenly” Lasagna range.
