TWO MORE JBS PLANTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO EXPORT CHICKEN TO SINGAPORE

Sao Paulo, December 27, 2016 – Last week, JBS received approval for its Campo Mourão and Jaguapitã units in Paraná to export chicken to Singapore starting in April 2017.

 

With this achievement, JBS will be able to increase sales of this protein to Singapore by 22% and reinforce its position as one of the leading global food sector companies in Asia.  Altogether, the company has 21 plants now qualified to export to Singapore, 15 producing poultry and six producing pork.

 

The main products sold to Singapore are deboned chicken legs and thighs as well as cuts of pork that are sold to foodservice distributors, processing companies and supermarkets.
