Announcement as member of the committee of 20 global companies came during the China International Import Expo (CIIE)
Sao Paulo, December 14, 2018 – JBS was formally announced as a member of CIIE Exhibitors Alliance during the China International Import Expo (CIIE), considered China’s biggest business fair. The company has also been nominated as one of the vice-chairman members of the group among seven other representatives. The committee, whose associated companies are 20 major global players, is expected to be a platform for developing an environment supportive of new partnerships focusing on the Chinese market.
The group will also be tasked with generating ideas and suggestions for the upcoming editions of the event and providing a direct communication channel between these companies with the Chinese government at all levels.
During this year’s first edition of the CIIE, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, Friboi, Seara and JBS Novos Negócios, exhibiting alongside JBS USA and JBS Australia, showcased their portfolios, focusing on added value products. The companies also took the opportunity to take an up-close view of their customers’ needs and requirements, prospect for new partners and offer solutions for a variety of sales channels in one of the world’s largest markets.
